Hathway Laundry

The best laundry in the area. Cheaper than any other local laundries. Machines take all coins except £2. Long open hours. Rarely very busy. Never had to wait longer than 10 mins for a dryer.

Very clean & tidy. But had to wait for over 30 minutes for a dryer. People were coming in with 3 lots of just drying. Thought priority went to people who had used the washers. But doesn't seem the rule here? 🤔

Great value compared to some laundry facilities that I have used.
It's quite small with only 6 washing machines, but it does the job nicely.
2 x large machines at £4.20
4 x normal machines at £3
Dryers at £1 for 12mins.

I was concerned at there being no emergency numbers on display that I could see, for when problems arise.

Otherwise, a great little laundrette.

Our washing machine broke down so I had to use this place. It has 2 jumbo washing machines (4.40 £) and 4 normal ones (3 £). Even the normal ones are bigger than most household washing machines (I think they are 8 kg). They also have 4-5 tumble dryers. You could buy detergent from a machine there but I'd suggest you to bring your own.

What an amazing place, not been to one of these places in 20 years, had to wash a duvet, very clean machines, different size loads, very well kept interior, even met the owner checking up to ensure everything was OK, had a great chat for over an hour, but that said, would have not been a problem waiting on my own.
