Glover Priest have to rate as the worst law firm that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I originally appointed them in April 2022. They did nothing for almost four months then told me the fees would be almost 50% higher than originally quoted. Disheartened I sourced another legal practice who were cheaper than the original quote. So I asked for my £380 deposit to be returned which was duly returned a few days later with a £29.80 fee deduction. It appears that they did nothing other than charge for the pleasure of their inaction and mismanagement. I’m utterly disgusted with them and now wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.

The house move took a long time and Glover Priest staff kept me up to date all the way through. I would use then again as I found them very helpful.

Having used GloverPriest on a previous occasion to handle the conveyancing on one of our houses, my wife and I were confident to call on their services once again to deal with drawing up our wills. We used Glover Priest a few years ago for the purchase of our first property. Everything went well that time and so we used them again for our sale and purchase that’s just completed. Again, their service is very good and especially during the stamp duty holiday surge in transactions. They’ve updated since we first used them with a handy app that provides updates and being able to digitally verify ID. This was particularly good for us as we live in London and so didn’t have to travel to do things in person. Much cheaper than London solicitors. Would recommend.

We just completed our house purchase before the end of the stamp duty holiday. Timescales were always going to be tight but Emma and her team in the Wellingborough office were fantastic with excellent communication throughout.
