I was told they are taking on community care cases. I spoke to the person in the department about my case. They said I would need to complete legal aid forms which I did. I didn't hear anything for weeks. So I tried to chase it up. I got no reply. Then they contacted me to say they needed bank statement from husband who are couldn't go out due to health.

It was now lockdown and both my partner and I are chronically disabled and had received shielding letters from NHS telling us not to go out not even for exercise or be at risk of getting coronavirus. There wasn't even a bank in my town so I had to to next town on buses and risk catching coronavirus. When I got there I count get statement as it is not my account so had to go again with letters from husband of authority.

It was very difficult and after all that I heard nothing. Communication is very poor. Eventually a call came on my mobile while I was asleep. I could barely register what I was being told. The person from Washington was telling me they had 'no capacity' for my case. So I had gone to all that trouble getting bank statements for nothing! Surely the would have known this in the beginning.

Rude, incompetent, bias, no intention of what is best for the child involved. Lie and purposely deceive the court for their own benefit. Beware if you come up against Colin Warner or anyone from his firm.

we went to exchange it because it had a 5 year guarantee and they were very helpful and changed it for a new one

Communication was not as good as I would have hoped, but the job was done and it was done correctly.

Experiencing bad service from this firm, a simple estate has not been finalized for almost 3 years now. Our case is being neglected, solicitor only assigned 1 day a week to deal with our matter. Very hard to contact or get information. Everytime we call they complain if we keep contacting they are going to keep charging us more. Poor management, 3 times solicitor has been assigned never got work done, I had to call and send documents to the bank myself, just to get the funds released to the firm because they cant get documents delivered to the bank properly. Until now we as the beneficiery have not gotten the full entitled amount.

Its been a living nightmare trying to get our case finalized.

I will delete this review if our case is settled and will reconsider a more positive feedback. If not finalized soon then I will file a report to the ombudsman for poor service provided by the Waddington & Son firm.

I have been waiting over 2 years for the solicitor to finalize my mother's Estate. Elisabeth Borthwick was my mother.The solicitor is very unprofessional and rude.Who do I complain to? paulofurlonge @hotmail.com l am Paul A Williams (son) His name is Gary Hall.

Do not use these solicitors. They have been dealing with my mother's will since she passed away last year and seem no closer to completing this almost 11 months later. Phone calls aren't returned and we were never even notified when our solicitor left the company! We have been advised by another solicitor to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman if there is no progress after 12 months.

Probably the rudest and most money focused solicitor ever. Withheld a Will for the sake of trying to get us to pay for them to administer the probate. Then, we go up to get the Will and notice that there are two errors in it from them originally writing it. We were told “it pays to review it”… isn’t that what the solicitor is for??? Not recommended.
