We have used this firm to purchase our first house. I spent alot of time finding the right Solicitors as I had heard horror stories from friends and family and I wanted the purchase to go as smooth as I could make it (from my side). First I checked reviews and rang up a few firms that had the best ones. When I phoned up this firm they were the most friendly, informative and happy to spend time to answer my questions - I decided to go with them. I'm so glad that I did. Nadine is very quick to answer emails and keep us in the loop, she is always clear and precise and I feel, went the extra mile to sort things out for us. The whole system of paying and the information material/document signing is very well organised and step by step. It was one of the more costly firms but well worth the extra expense, I'm so happy that we had a smooth experience. We are now waiting to complete on the house. I hope Nadine will still be there when we next move!

Working with Jolyon Berry at Thompson Smith and Puxon was a very good experience. I found Jolyon knowledgeable, professional and personable and was pleased that the outcome for my case was positive. Jolyon was sensitive and practical to my situation, transparently weighing the pros and cons (risk and cost), and then advising me accordingly . I would highly recommend Jolyon for employee/employer challenges. Thank you Jolyon!

Professional service at competive rates, particularly during a challenging climate with the Covid-19 pandemic & national lockdown. Good communication throughout the transaction, well located for parking & delivery / signing documents. I would recommend using both Laura Finnigan & Laura Patterson for any residential property matters.

Georgia Bolton could not have been more helpful and professional when dealing with my Mums LPAs. We would have no hesitation in recommending TS and P to anyone.

I realize that the covid situation and other factors played a role, and yes some things were handled well but it was over all not the level of service our initial meeting left us expecting.

We are buying a property and the Vendor is using these Solicitors, unfortunately there have been unnecessary delays, enquiries raised do not get answered sufficiently only partially. After being asked to prove changes to the occupancy of the property on 5th August, the death certificate or verification still has not been received by our Solicitors. According to the Estate Agents email the Solicitors reportedly are requesting a fie from archives as they dealt with probate ?
The offer for the property was accepted on 6th July, we have a buyer for our home and there isn’t anyone else in a chain.
So the dates speak volumes 6th July up to 13th September with no exchange of contracts, the Vendor hasn’t signed a contract, searches are completed and our buyer is ready to complete.

Very nice lady travelled out to my mums home for a last will and testament consultation. She was there for approximately 20mins. It's not a complicated estate as there are two beneficiaries, one of which was to be written out completely leaving a single beneficiary. However when the hard copy of the will was received the full names of the two were completely incorrect, incorrect first names and surnames which caused my mother great distress due to the sensitive nature of having to exclude one beneficiary in the first place. She had also recently been diagnosed with cancer and was starting her treatment soon after the meeting with this lady and was advised that should she choose not to proceed with the will she would be entitled to a full refund which didn't happen. Small details are not only very important but getting them wrong can cause great distress as the back story might not be known. More care needs to be taken. Would not recommend.
