Update - Frank is happy to represent me aslong as I pay and don't use legal aid... DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. I was not abusive.. I was having a panic attack. Frank called me himself after this review was posted. He said he could infact represent me... but he didn't want me to use legal aid as he wouldn't get paid as much as he wanted to be paid... so he told me not to go for legal aid, so I told him I'd go elsewhere. DO NOT USE.

- I was recommended by my mortgage broker last year to use Lauren Ward at John Fowlers for my first Buy to Let purchase,
and this went swiftly and smoothly. For my second Buy to Let purchase I decided to instruct Lauren again since I knew she would be reliable.
I was hoping for another quick exchange, but unfortunately this was far from the case. We began the process mid-June and Lauren advised me that the anticipated time for completion was likely 10 - 12 weeks. I was prepared for the competition to run a little of over schedule as there could be delays in the process which is totally understandable. During this time Lauren and I had regular communication, she would periodically
update me on the progress of my case but the vendors solicitors were taking a very long time to respond to Laurens important enquiries. Before I knew it 5 months had passed and my mortgage offer was due to expire. Many lenders' offers last for 12 months but sods law my offer was valid for only 6 months and they weren’t willing to grant me a discretionary extension. This meant that the rate I secured back in June 2022 could not be matched due to the dramatic increase in the bank of England’s base rate. I immediately expressed my concerns to Lauren and she composed an email highlighting the fact that I literally had 20 days to complete or else my monthly payments would have DOUBLED making what would have been a profitable investment, a financial burden. Thankfully the vendors solicitor realised the seriousness of my situation and started replying to the enquiries – Luckily, I was able to complete today with 3 days left to complete.

Lauren has literally saved me thousands of pounds – excellent service I will recommend her to friends and family.
