My partner had terrible service when purchasing a house. They were very slow to do anything. Charged us over £20 for sending letter. Then when they sent us a letter they did not attach stamps so we had to pay on top. Staff were rude. Took 6 months to do paper work for a sale house. Would not recommend. I feel we pay to much and got very poor service.

Running on 4 th months …don’t know how long it will take …..

NEVER USE THESE. They were trying to get Legal Aid for me, said they could help, as I was an abusive relationship. Took over 2 years with hardly any communication from them, I was the one getting hold of them, if and when they were available.... but after all that... Still no Legal Aid or information. Yet in less than 6 months they've apparently took me to court for an outstanding amount I owe them? Not received any court letters, but instead had a high court bailiff at my door threatening to take my goods for a sum that was never owed! They never did any work for me but to just get me legal aid and go through that avenue. Clearly getting legal Aid, apart from it being due to domestic violence, means I have no other way to pay!
DO NOT TRUST THEM. They have billed me a huge amount for zero work and non communication. Instead left me shaken and worried to try any other solicitors.

Would highly recommend. Martin and his team are very experienced professionals who know exactly what they are doing.
They keep you fully up to date and work tireless for you.
Without the hard work of Martin and his team I doubt my move would have gone through.
There are a lot of bad solicitors out there and I would say the outweigh the good ones.
So save yourself anymore stress in what is a very stressful process of buying a property and use Martin and his team.

My first time buyer experience was a great one thanks to Martin Dewar. He was always contactable via phone, email or his PA – Christine. As well as being honest and transparent with the timeframe, he was able to answer any questions I had and was also very thorough. From start to finish took approximately 10 weeks, and this was during the Covid pandemic & looming stamp duty deadline. I’m almost certain that Martin will be my go-to solicitor for any future purchases. The solicitor fees are not the cheapest but they say you get what you pay for. I would rather pay that bit extra for a solicitor that is contactable and knows what they are doing, over a cheap internet conveyancer somewhere in Yorkshire who I can’t get hold of. Plus we completed just before the stamp duty deadline so the fees were worth it. I would rate my entire experience with TG Baynes as 9/10. If the firm had a portal to upload documents and provide real time updates I would give it a 10/10.
