They were very professional and always replied to email queries within 30 minutes!
We didn’t deal with Rebekah, but Roger, Nick and Eniko, who were all very helpful.
Our family will definitely use them again and recommend their services to others.
I will definitely be recommending you to others.
Ltd are good for wills writing.
They have done mine for many years and I will always use there services.
Grant of probate was given to Rebekah Hillman and Gillian Gray. However, we've never met or corresponded with Gillian Gray and only found out this month, November 2022, and since confirmed by Rebekah Hillman Gillian Gray left the firm years ago. However, the questions is whether Gillian Gray's departure was before or after the Probate was granted in court.
The illusive Gillian Gray has shared authority of our Mother's Estate. Tomorrow, 1st December 2022 will be 8 years to the day since our Mother passed however the probate remains incomplete with Rebekah Hillman saying she will close the case when we pay HMRC knowing full well that she holds the funds and her action/non action caused the debt. One that HMRC for whatever reason has permitted to continue for over 7 years.
As in the case of other customers whose reviews we have since seen, once Hillman gain control of the Estate ie funds that's it - they do as they wish even taking their "fee" without consent.
NB. Whilst, they are members of the 'Society of Will Writers' that organisation's stance is "Probate once the grant has been issued is outside the remit of the Society". Advising pursuing justice by way of the legal route. As if losing our Mother and currently her legacy she worked decades for - her Estate - isn't stressful enough😳 But clearly that's no concern of the Society. Hillman are not solicitors or "attorneys", therefore unregulated.
So, there is no agency to hold Hillman and Rebecca Hillman accountable for action/non action, inappropriate conduct or poor service. Hence, why it feels we (as a grieving family) are 'like sitting ducks in a row' to Hillman.
The service we received lacks any compassion or empathy. Hillman completed all the probate forms and communicated with HMRC, leaving my siblings and I out until in December 2021 I, as a beneficiary, sought their consent so that we could communicate.
We rue the day we walked into that London office. Other reviews we've seen are on 'Yell', 'Just Answer' re Probate service and the Hillman site re the Hillman writing of a Will. As with the others everything said here can be substantiated and in our case there is a great deal untold.
Should Rebekah Hillman choose to respond to this review in her usual disparaging manner, then further elaboration will provide clarification thereby eliminating any doubt.
We will all pass and sadly witness the passing of loved ones. From our point of view Hillman Partnership has found a way of capitalizing on vulnerability brought about by grief. Informed choice is a right, choose your Probate practitioner and Will writer wisely it will prevent so much pain and loss of money in future due to legal action.
I would highly recommend their dedicated team.
They are efficient and patient.
I felt very supported when doing probate with the lovely Lizzie .
Rebekah is wise and knowledgeable and is empathetic
In fact all my dealings have been satisfactory and I have never felt pressure to do anything I didn’t want
And I have been with them since 2014
Nick is a good appointment manager!
