Me and my wife and kids had to put up with bad damp and mold for two years and the council would not do the work and till I tried mc Dermott smith law they got the council to do the work thank you for your help

Signed up for miss-sold finance claim. Sent all required documents and it was a waiting game. Received an email with claimable sum of nearly 9k. After sending more documents kept asking to update me of what's going on. Never got reply when sent about 10 emails asking for update.
So left a negative review because of lack of communication and totally ignoring emails. Next day after my review received a call asking to remove my feedback in promise to start communicating. Guess what, as soon as i removed my review, no further emails or calls received. So left another review... After couple of days got an email saying "Your claim does not satisfy our criteria, therefore, we unable to act for you in this matter"
Was waste of time and wasted 6 month waiting when could go with more reputable company. Looks like 9k in not enough for this company to be claimed.
Avoid this company and read reviews before signing up.

After getting in touch about mis sold car finance I have now been waiting for almost 7 months contact has completely dried up! Multiple emails have been ignored by Alister Davies!

Had a positive outcome over a compensation claim, I was extremely happy with the service that Andrew provided, any issues or questions that I had Andy was always quick to provide a reply and I can not find fault with them. Would happily recommend them.

I was very happy with the outcome of this case in that it provided me with funds to deal with the problem I had with my local council. The case dragged on due to the intransigence of the council and as a result the finance charges and insurance charges built up. However the firm generously did not collect their normal fee freeing up funds to sort out the problem.

Kathryn Langton Solicitor and her team were totally amazing and my house repair issues got sorted within 6 months from first initial phone call to McDermott Smith Law from start to finish. Plus I got £500 compensation aswell for all the stress generated as my housing association let me down really badly.

1 star for this review as clear money claims passed all my details over and I confirmed my ID with McDermott only for a girl name Amy to get all my details wrong weeks later and tell me via email she will contact her supervisor and correct them I then rang up 7months later to see how the claim was going and they had my name address car reg and car make all wrong under someone else’s name ect.
I had to explain to 3 different people. So many incompetent employees I would never use them again. Avoid
