Very strongly recommend against their conveyancing.

Most importantly, they had no consideration for the fact that we were first time buyers.

Difficult to get straight answers out of them, lots of information sent with no context or explanation, long waits between communication (even the seller complained to us about them taking a long time to respond!), incompletely photocopied documents sent to us, no consistency in who dealt with our requests, seemingly simple things missed, and so on.

Have heard good things about them, but definitely did not experience that ourselves.

Would not recommend to anyone wanting a smooth and stress-free experience. 3 months later I am still dealing with issues that I was told had been sorted by my solicitor (Shona) at the time of purchasing my property. Terrible communication and service, choose to ignore you as soon as your sale goes through. AVOID!

I hope I never need to deal with this solicitors, my sister has lost her fiance a year ago after 40years together. Even tho probate has been granted they want to keep hold of her finances for another 10 months leaving her to cope with bills ect strugging even though she is still struggling to cope with her loss.
I thought we employed solicitors to help, not keep things lingering on.

We had a great experience using Ellis-Fermor & Negus for our recent house sale and purchase. Debs and her assistants Amelia and Shelley were great throughout. Really responsive, professional and made the whole process straightforward. We would highly recommend them.

Unbelievably incompetent. I went to have Deed Poll forms witnessed and checked over. The solicitor I had the appointment with made excuses to leave after five minutes and sent in another who (to be fair) confessed that she hadn’t done them before and wasn’t sure what was required. Sure enough the forms came back from the Deed Poll office marked as incorrectly completed so I made an appointment to try again. The solicitor I had the second appointment with tried to pass us on to someone else as soon as we arrived, then left us waiting in an office for 25 minutes with no explanation. When he finally came
back he confessed to not understanding the forms and sent us away to find out for ourselves how they should be filled in. Complete waste of time.
