These guys are amazing! Such a person service and friendly attitude, they care about your circumstances and strive you give you the best service they can. My dealings with David Lewis have been outstanding and I can't thank him enough for the 'above and beyond ' efforts he has put into my case! Highly recommend this company and I will certainly be using their services again!

A First Class service from Mr Lewis and staff whilst conveyancing the sale of my house recently . I was given regular updates on the progress and the whole process was straightforward and hassle free. There were no hidden charges; the fee I was quoted at the outset was what I paid upon completion of the sale. Mr Lewis and the staff I spoke to on the phone/at reception were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend them.

One word - BARGEPOLE!!! One star - as there's no option to record none.
(Not sure why it hasn't recorded my name here, as I am logged in!)

After receiving a glowing referral to these people (from our lovely estate agent) for conveyancing on a house purchase, and getting a breakdown of costs over the phone from Neil Richards, we went ahead and engaged him. But, a week later, the promised Legal Pack still hadn't arrived. I rang to find out why, and asked politely if having to chase them at these early stages of the process (i.e. before we even got things started!) meant that the whole process would likely be slow. I felt, as a very nervous first-time buyer in a different country, that was a fair question because as we're on a deadline for completion and my question was driven by our need to feel reassured that whatever company we choose to deal with will have our interests at heart. But instead of assuring me that matters would indeed be well in hand in a timely manner for us as new clients, Richards just told me I'd be better of to go elsewhere!

He chose (and of course it was a concious choice!) arrogance over empathy. He CHOSE to take umbrage, instead of simply reassuring me he would chase things up and work with us to buy our house. Clearly, he either doesn't actually know how to do what's required or he already has enough Clients and doesn't need any more. That's fine of course, but there's a big difference between not wanting new clients or really knowing how to help them, and actually treating them like dirt. And he's the 'head honcho', apparently! Shame on him. Begs the question, really, about what sort of work ethic he's fostering down there with the other staff, but we'll leave that to other poor souls to find out.

Having lost a full precious week waiting around for someone who doesn't give a rats, we've now instructed a different firm, who welcomed us warmly, and who we believe will handle the conveyancing competently for us, as well as a lot of other important legal stuff coming up in the coming year or three that we're a bit worried about that we'll need a lot of support in dealing with. Personally, I wouldn't touch Richards and Lewis with a barge pole. Who with any real sense would tell a person standing there waving money at them, to take it somewhere else???

If you want people who actually care about you as a client, who will work in your interests, do what the man here says: "look elsewhere".

I was asking receptionist to give me the price for advice and then when I heard the price I said yes I'm happy with it. I was waiting for silicitor to contact me as the case it's urgent after one week I called back to see why it is take so long l. The receptionist said that she haven't booked me as she thought I was only asking for price. I thought fine so I maid clear that I one to book appointment as this case its serious and every minute its killing me. When came to the day of appointment at 14.15 when I was next to office lady from reception called me and said that the silicitor have to go because of urgent matter. I was like what to hell. I was waiting 2 weeks nothing have been done and last minute.com they said sorry we can't see you.

After a disastrous experience with another firm of solicitors, Richards and Lewis were recommended to us and a wonderfully efficient and cheerful lady called Brie Harris took on our conveyancing case. She kept us informed every step of the way, answering queries and returning our calls and emails promptly, even when she had no news for us. I would highly recommend Brie if you are buying or selling a property. It's so refreshing to find a business that seems to actually care about clients.

Following a personal recommendation from a close friend, both my husband and I used Dave Lewis for the sale and purchase of a new home. It was extremely refreshing to have a solicitor with a no-nonsense approach, sense of humour and professionalism whilst dealing with what can be a frustrating process. Dave fully explained the fixed (and reasonable) costs at the outset and answered any queries quickly and effectively. I will continue to highly recommend him to others.

Not sure if we can express just how fantastic Brie Harris has been throughout the purchase of our new home. It took 5 months due to delays on the vendor's side. Despite all the stress, frustration and high emotions - Brie remained by our side, consistent and as professional as ever. Today, we exchanged and completed and it would not have been possible without Brie. We are so grateful to have had such a fantastic solicitor taking us through the process of buying our first home with confidence.
