This shop is not for everybody tastes. It carries some wonderful lines of boots that are far too amazing for words and they are bound to make you the center of attention.
The staff is quite good but sometimes is too busy with people browsing so expect to wait for service.

Salesmen are really pushy, I came in to the shop fully planning to drop some of my savings on some really nice boots but I felt so pressured into making an immediate decision that I ended up leaving so that I wouldn't be strong-armed into buying something I hadn't thought through enough. If you suggest that you might want to buy them from the online store later they get really stroppy about it- I'm not sure why, I would have thought that if they are the same business it wouldn't matter. Maybe it's just since they are much cheaper on the web store, as others mentioned. The boots look amazing, I just wish I'd been given space to consider them without someone standing over me. :(

Don't even bother going to this shop unless you're uncertain about your shoe size. The staff are incredibly rude and aggressive especially whilst you're thinking about whether you want to go ahead with purchase. Stick to the official website.

What a wonderful shop..my daughter and I had a frightening experience in glitters a few doors down.she was having a panic attack very distraut..we took shelter in new rock where the owner and sales staff were so kind and understanding.we did end up buying a pair of boots each which they gave us discount on.thankyou for being there

Horrible Staff that’s super intrusive/ made me actually feel unsafe like I wasn’t allowed to leave! Also prices are so ridiculously high you can literally get the same styles for much less online and you save yourself the uncomfortable interaction with people that work there (of course my experiences are only based on a single person - in case more people work there then they might be different)

Good service and quality are remembered long after price has been forgotten. Yes, you will get it cheaper online. But here, you can try on as many garments as you like for fit. In fact, the salesman will insist on it. You will pay more but you will be happier because what you buy will actually fit. This is critical when it comes to leather garments. Try and have a general idea of prices and don't be afraid to bargain. In fact, you absolutely must do that. This is Camden, not Brick Lane, although you should haggle there as well. I always leave a little extra on the table for New Rock Camden because they always make a fuss of my wife who is disabled. Nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to take the time to help her try things on. Go in the week when it's quieter and don't be afraid to walk away towards the door. He'll call you back with a better offer, mark my words. A tremendously enthusiastic salesman - a friend for life!

Pushy staff and far too overpriced.

I have been to this shop many times because they are the only official New Rock stockist in the UK. It's nice that I can try on lots of different boots, however, the prices are extortionate; £290 for a pair of ankle boots which, as soon as I showed doubts, I was given an on-the-spot reduction to £230. That's still way overpriced. When I said I wouldn't be buying those boots, the staff member just walked off.

I have felt pressured to buy something every time. I feel like the staff have no courtesy, and I can't stand haggling over prices. Camden is already stressful enough with the number of visitors - I don't need the pressure from shop staff as well.

I will continue to go, but only to try on stock. Finding anywhere else in the UK with such a range is almost impossible.

This place looks so shady I wasn't even sure it was an official New Rock store...
