Wiseman Lee

Whilst not an actual client of this firm, I recommend against dealing with them. Their communication, or lack there of, is frankly staggering.

During the purchase process, my solicitor attempted to contact the representative at Wiseman Lee for our buyer countless times over a month period with no response trying to ascertain whether a certain completion date could adhered to and whether any queries were forthcoming. The only assurances my solicitor got were that the representative would call back. When they finally did respond after a month of chasing, they raised a number of queries. Whilst straight forward, the queries would take time and subsequently pushed completion back by several weeks. Had the queries been raised as and when they emerged, the process could have been infinitely smoother.

Add to this, my solicitor how now been chasing the same representative for NINE WEEKS post completion for a simple request to release a retention amount which was no longer required to be held (with documented proof provided). There has been no response of any kind during this period, even to say they do not believe the amount cannot yet be refunded. Atrocious service.

I was not a client. These were my buyers solicitors. Unfortunately due to constant delays, lack of transparency, being unresponsive and unprofessional it led to my sale falling through over 3 months in. No one even answers the phone. Just appauling. Don't put yourself through the stress. Find a more professional set up.

I'm not a direct client of this firm, however
I don't recommend to deal with them. They are very unprofessional and not responsive. My landlord is dealing with them regarding my deed of surrender and a new lease and they have already changed 3 times the person who is dealing with my case. It's ridiculous. Stay away otherwise you will end up disappointed.
