I was pushed for a completion date. This didn’t work out for me and I agreed to moving out the following Wednesday. HSW had already confirmed with my Solicitor that all checks had been done. Then at 4pm on the Friday they asked even more questions that required further research and put me out of pocket.
Due diligence should be done before a date is agreed. Yet they failed to do this. They also repeatedly asked totally irrelevant questions along the way.
This chain is at risk of collapse.

My advice is shop around.
