Hart Brown Solicitors in Guildford

In all my dealings with Hart Brown, both in the past and most recently, I have found them to offer both a very professional, but also personal, service. This is not a common blend. The Senior Solicitor with whom I had business recently, listened to me, guided me and then executed my wishes in all respects, swiftly and efficiently, importantly keeping in touch with me along the timeline and happy to explain further where needed.
I felt totally confident throughout the process and should not hesitate to recommend and to consult Hart Brown in future.

A simple Medical negligence claim that turned out to be more complex than originally thought, but Gerard was amazing and did not give up. I was kept up to date via himself or Carmel at every step. They went above and beyond to help me and nothing was to much trouble. I found both Gerard and carmel Above professional,very understanding and one step ahead at all times. Can not thank you both enough!

This relates to the Cranleigh branch and is my first public negative opinion. I have rarely given ratings on google, but i if I have, it is to give compliments where compliments are due. I am not doing so in this case.

It is only because I have so much on my plate that am I not proceeding with a formal complaint. It took 10 months from start to finish to get my Will written. The time my lawyer took to respond to most things was shocking and at no point did I feel like a valued customer and communication was abysmal and off hand.

Addendum:

I would just like to add that when my father, a very sweet gentle, unstable old man of 84, went in to HB in Cranleigh, to hopefully get a certified copy of his passport done the other day (they did not know he was my father) he was turned away. He was told, it is not company policy to provide this service for anyone who they are not currently working for... He came home upset and anxious as he needed to get it done (he has been in Cranleigh for 50 years, lives only a short walk from HB and has more than likely walked past their window everyday until of late). I then had to escort him all the way down Cranleigh to the other solicitors who gladly did it in 5 minutes for a small fee of £5.... at least the boxes were ticked correctly I guess.

Debbie Beswick from Hart Brown Godalming branch, dealt with the sale of my late father's house. This was a stressful time for us and she dealt with this extremely quickly from under offer to completion in 3 weeks in a calm and informative manner, she was very approachable, and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

My partner and I didn't expect writing our wills would have been a pleasurable experience but it was, thanks to Jordan Page at Hart Brown. You're looking for two things in a solicitor - attitude and knowledge and Jordan has both in abundance. He is a super-nice chap who knows his stuff, is very responsive and easy to chat to about the host of sensitive issues involved in writing wills. Highly recommended.
