Just joined the centre only for the pool. Found it very hard to swim as children bomb jumping in the pool basically on top of you..lifeguards not paying attention, or just don't care. Nowhere to actually swim. Was really disappointed, but will persevere!!!

Excellent gym full of all necessary facilities. It contains industrial air-con systems to help keep you cool during your exercises, especially on these hot, humid and sticky days.

I have just cancelled my membership. Th Pheonix has sadly deteriorated since I joined. They are penny pinching by closing the steam room and sauna during the day, the shower doesn’t work in there anyway. I have contacted head office but my comments fall on deaf ears.

Shocking pool and shower temperature for children! Week after week they are freezing cold! Happy to take your money but obviously trying to save pennies!

I went swimming on Sunday 6th February 22 and I was totally disgusted at the state of the changing rooms, the poolside and the water. The changing rooms didn’t look like they had been cleaned in weeks and the poolside was the same. The water had so many bits floating around in it and the bottom of the pool was really gritty like sand. I couldn’t wait to get out. The foyer was just as bad and the disabled toilet in the foyer was really dirty too. I would have given a no star rating BUT the water was warm so I thought I would be generous! Please clean it up!!
