Busier than I expected considering there was supposedly limited numbers. No one adhering to the cv19 rules that they request.
The flume is ok but the camera thing broken. The pool life guards seemed friendly and helpful. The place was relatively clean considering no one was taking their shoes off before you walk around the changing room. It's looking a bit tired in places but overall a good experience.

Went for our first visit today because of the slide that is advertised on their website. The screen for the slide is not working so it’s just a normal flume but was good. I think there is a health and safety issue to be sorted regarding the slide, a member of staff stands at the door by the pool and allows 1 person to walk up the stairs to the slide one at a time. When I walked up to the start of the slide I was shocked to see that there was no safety net around the side of the staircase, as young children walk up the stairs on their own and if they were to climb over the side, it’s a few floors drop to the bottom. There should be a member of staff at the top of the stairs to supervise young children. The swimming pool was very cold and then the showers were very hot, people were not letting their children shower because how hot they were. Please can something be done for the safety of the children walking up the stairs to the slide.

Great facility for the local area. The staff are always on hand to help out and give tours for new members and are very knowledgeable in most areas :)
Love the swimming pool, and there are lots of different session to cater for everyone’s needs. The new gym equipment that was put in recently is also a really good selling point for the centre as it increases what you can do!

The leisure centre staff was really welcoming towards my younger brother and I when we went in the fun swim. They ensured that the pool was a safe and fun environment and the flume itself sets it apart from any nearby pool

I’ve started bringing my son here now for a while. My son wanted to go down the slide but was too scared, because of his height I wasn’t allowed to go with him. He was 8 the first time we tried. I thought that was poor of the staff to not accommodate his fear.
I’ve since gone down with him when eventually someone see sense and he now loves it.

I really like it here and the staff (apart from what I’ve mentioned) are really good and polite and in my opinion, there is a good amount of lifeguards watching.
I think the price is good and facilities are more than adequate. Parking is sometimes difficult but it’s not a negative as there is only so much space. And nothing more can be done.

The only thing I’d like to see is better clothes hooks in the changing rooms and raised water mats on the floor in the cubicles (if you understand what I mean) as the floors can be grubby, which is understandable when we all wear our shoes going into them.

Lastly, my son loves it here.

Swimming pool just right for pottering up and down and having the craic…

Used the sports hall to play badminton. It's easy to book online. Facilities are good no complaints. You can hire racquets and shuttlecocks for free.

Kids pool was so cold my daughter cried when she got in. I mentioned it to the lifeguard and she mumbled something and gave me a look. We ended up in the castle play area which was nice and warm, but it meant that all parents of small children were forced to go in there and no one was in the kids pool.
