Holyhead Leisure Centre

The gym needs to be thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. Customers wipe the equipment after use but the machines, the lord, skirting board etc all need cleaning. There is never a member of staff in the gym either, customers have to ask each other for help, a man fell off the treadmill & there was no-one to help him except us.

I just got a membership pass and a gym and pool subscription, and it's simply fantastic! The pool is very clean, warm and well guarded, and the machines in the gym are absolutely latest technology - and the staff are simply wonderful! The only thing that could use a bit of improvement is the cafe...

Wouldn’t recommend this place unfortunately. Karen gave me and my friends a life time ban because I wasn’t very happy that I had to buy at least 3 months membership despite making it clear that we are only here for a few weeks. She ripped up my friends and I’s forms with fury in her eyes. However I have to thank Karen for banning me as it led me to the weight lifting club down the road which is an incredible place with lovely staff and a great atmosphere!

At the gym, u can easily find all things what u really need a good workout 💪🏻 indeed!

So many people visiting this place and I never ever had any issue with clean. Is always nice and tidy!

Only one reason why not 5 💫 because the water in the swimming pool is a little bit dirty.

Went for the early elderly swim while staying with friends. They both 60+ so free swimming. I paid £3.50 thats £1.40 cheaper than Manchester.
Clean. Safe enough to leave your changing things in the changing room. Lockers are available. Water not too cold. Went twice while was there.

Holyhead Sports Centre is a great place to Gym, Swim or Play Activities in the Aports Hall. 5-a-side, Badminton, Basketball etc. Usually always busy but never over crowded.

Membership is recommended.

Good pool, changing rooms need an update. He lockers seem to have been fixed (50p male, £1 female).

Leisure centre offers use of showers facilities for a small charge. Thanks guys it was much needed for us vanventurers.
