Retford Library

Lovely staff very helpful, bright and cheerful atmosphere just a nice place to spend some quiet time 👩‍👩‍👦‍👦

Came here to do half days intense revision for an exam. May as well have sat in the middle of Retford bus station. You can expect a few noisy toddlers but the staff on the front desk were too chatty and loud. Gave up in the end. Wasn't the public using the library who were making the noise. Sad really. They are supposed to be providing quiet as part of the service.

Its was a first question my 4 years daughter asked me about when we are moved to the Retford area. " where is a library ".
Very comfortable place and friendly , professional stuff.
Don't Berry if any book you wanted not on a shelves- they can order it for you .
Mobile library is a option as well. Recheck Council for the day and time it's near you once a month

Brilliant for Ellie and me . We had a good time reading some books and took them home. Very good selection of books, toys and colouring go do as well
