Dartford Library

Cannot fault the service I received today! Turned up without my library card wanting to use a computer quickly, for the purposes of printing. Was quickly serviced albeit minus my card and was able to easily use the computer and printer. I encountered a number of issues all self inflicted and the staff were friendly and reassuring. When I chose to print the expensive way I was kindly advised of the cheaper alternative and staff were patient with me in achieving this. Having a very stressful morning with my masters in law hand in, the staff really relaxed me! I was able to print and save £8 which as a student was much appreciated! Little to the staff knowledge my masters was actually on community spirit within the borough and I was pleased to see this in action on my hand in date! Very well done Dartford library!

Lots of books covering every area of knowledge for all ages here. The staff and attendants were quite courteous and friendly.

The books are well taken care and we fond some that were more than 50 years old here. This is one place I look forward to visiting again.

Nice library for studying but it closes way too early!

I needed to scan my passport. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Library, there is also a gallery inside. Free Wi-Fi but you need to get your login credentials first. Lots of Children’s book.

Underused facility which is a shame as there's a great selection of adults books and reference books and magazines in one of Dartfords beautiful and original buildings. New car parking in Acacia Hall/ Mansion House very easy and convenient with lots of disabled spaces too. Lots of new books. Kids library could do with a revamp but still a great selection. Librarians are very helpful. One took time to help myself and my son to choose some books. You can drop off borrowed books in box outside and use self service tils if you prefer less human interaction. Maybe take a stroll around lovely Central Park too while you're at it.

I love this Library. Open Monday to Saturday, and wonderful books with their due dates 3 weeks after borrowing or renewing.Awesome librarians too.

Very nice place to spend time. All the staffs are very polite and friendly. Not only English books, but also Asian languages books, Tamil and Punjabi books are also there.
