Very good uni library, staff are always very nice and helpful. Isolutions is based there so can sort out any tech issues. Although there is a big struggle with seating right before exams, the seating they have is very good and always have plugs available before 9am when busiest. During term time it is brilliant!

It's a decent library. Unfortunately, since Apple updated their keyboard mechanism around 3 to 4 years ago, anyone uses a Mac. Makes an sufferable clickety clickety clack sound.

And what would this being a university? It is overrun with people using said macs

Nice place. A lot of resources and well organized to search and study. During exam periods is almost always full but now there's also the centenary building for those looking for a quiet space to study. There is also a Starbucks, some micromeaves and hot water for food. And also some water fountains. Unsure about their filter though as there is no info about it.

Good place to study, but quiet areas not respected. Full blown loud, distracting conversations or discussions.

Not so quiet sometimes despite written signs. Some students like to think of the library as a cafe. It's NOT!

A very good and organized library inside the university! They have a lot of quiet study places, it's also open to the public. Only suggestion is for the guest Wi-Fi, sometimes doesn't work very well.

As an OU student I am so happy to have access to Hartley Library. It feels hard at times as I feel unaccepted by most establishments, but not here. I'd like to say a massive thank you! I been to Hartley Library for about a year now and kept to one spot, I just like the open spaces and I find it quite difficult to study at home. Finishing up my assignment a little early I thought 'Lets go walkies' and stumbled in the History floor, surrounded by our past I couldn't help but cry a little. Amazing! Latin! Lego parvum latium et amo Latina! Amo histroria et amo Hartley Library (=
