Archway Library

I really like the Archway library. I always find the books I am looking for, either for myself or for my kids. Books can also be reserved from other Islington libraries and usually arrive within a few days, which is very practical. Overall, their selection of books is excellent, whether for kids, novels, biographies, magazines, comics. It may not look like much but it is a little jewel for anyone who likes reading and be informed. A great place for the Archway community.

A really nice place with a good choice of books, CDs, and DVDs. You can request a book from the other libraries in Islington free of charge, and there are nice activities and services for children and elders. The place is mostly quiet, although sometimes children can be a bit loud. The staff is very nice too.

The library has seen better days and is only open on restricted hours during the week due to local council cutbacks. However, I can order any book I wish to be picked up from there and they have great incentives to get babies and children into reading including free classes and events. Support it or lose it.

Great Library... Very Friendly Staff & A Huge Variety Of Books, Comics To Choose From... Has Baby/Toddler Story Time Here Plus Internet Access & Printing Available Here Too... I Highly Recommend This Library Because Its Peaceful & Lovely Atmosphere x

My favourite library anywhere. Lots of fiction and non-fiction. Lots of DVDs (film & TV) and CD albums. Large kids' section. Lots of PCs. Pretty large selection of graphic novels. Very nice and friendly staff. Once you sign up you can order things in from across Islington for free.

Really nice library with some lovely activities with families with little ones! Big selection of books for children and also dvds! Has also computers to use. They also have some initiatives encouraging young and old users to read more!

If you want a quiet place to read/study, don't go here.

The staff team are excellent. They understand their regular users individual needs and offer their individual support to all when required I personally thing it the the best library in islington! !!
