Shirley Library

Lovely and welcoming staff, though now operated by private company, it is still quite nice to have a library locally to serve the community in Shirley.

Small, nice and quite.The only problem is that the toilet is for staff only.So be prepared to take your things(laptop,books) with you to scout for where to wee if the need do arise.

Welcoming, kind and helpful staff. A nice warm local environment. Glad services haven’t been negatively affected by recent problems with previous management.

Tend to go here for Children's books. Great range of books. The only disappointment is it's only open 2 days a week - you can blame the Labour Croydon Council cutbacks on that!

Darwin the griffins great scientist of human mankind. I got biography and other two books written on him within seconds.. All sections of books and magazines are nicely arranged children room was full of. Knowledge books with humor and fun. Really a nice library with. Human approach I would like to visit every Saturday.
