Romford Central Library

The library is really quite its own centre of learning and does so much more than jusr books and reading it is a place to gain access to the internet it is a local hub for schools and scholars you can just sitin the silence while soaking up the ambiance of the building highly recommend

Closes around 5:00 pm, confirmed in person.

Lovely staff. Sooo helpful. Daughter enjoyed the summer challenge. Thankyouuuu to the wonderful lady who enabled us to complete it!!!! God bless

Choosing books for summer reading challenge..

It does not open on time at 9am in the morning.Been there at 9:15am on a weekday and the doors were still locked.
Printer often doesn't work and print is expensive. PCs are slow.
Unreliable services.
Needs an upgrade.

Very nice library, grand selection of books, and other facilities I. T section audio books or just sit there for a while and read what ever you want

All 5 stars for one member of staff - l didn't get her name, slim, tall, blonde ponytail. She was the only one to acknowledge me out of the four staff members at the reception desk. She helped over and beyond by getting the book right off the shelf and handing it directly to me!

Such a tiny library in a big town like Romford. Printing cost is more than twice in comparison to Ilford library.
