I subscribed today, it’s not that big or the most quite library, you can hear people from outside, cafeteria or halls, but they have lovely, helpful staff, decent restrooms and I specially like the fact that it can be accessible in the evening and they provide security. I’m thankful we all have access to this facilities when we need a corner to feed our minds.

From an early age i used to enjoy going into the library . From reading to studying and occasionally getting a chance to go in the internet (pre smart phone era). However service received today and the hurdles of trying to work from a library just now is simply not worth it. Good memories blown to pieces by a bad procedure and service . Anything you need is about money within the library now. No wonder the libraries are not as popular as they once were. Its a shame.

Not the most quite library to begin with. There are people ( specially young school children) screaming down the hall and coming in and out of the library whenever they please and have absolutely no respect to keep quite. Even some of the adults who use the computer section are often on their phones talking and no staffs seem to do anything about it except just one of the male staffs ( whose name I can’t remember) Unfortunately the children’s unit is also right next to the computer/study section and most of the Parents don’t seem to acknowledge the idea of keeping it quite when in the library either. I’d think the least they can do is move the children’s unit to the other side of the library where the newspaper corner currently is and it could immensely help the students who study there and also to keep the noise and disturbance to a minimum. Even the Costa coffee ( cafe ) across the road is lot more quieter than the Wealdstone library at the moment and 1 star for the use of computers and the only nice gentlemen who always seem to try and help people. Thank you .
PS: Please bear in mind that the WiFi connection get disconnected 15 minutes before the library closes ( without prior warning) and if you haven’t saved any of your work , all your time spend there would be wasted. I’ve learnt the hard way today after losing 2 hours worth of course work as I couldn’t save it on time before the WiFi went off as they don’t warn people.

Staff very rude and never answers the phone. I called at 9.55am to ask about a book and was told they open at 10am and call after 10am. I called at 10.30am And now no one answers :( absolutely ridiculous service!!!!!!!!!

I have had a lovely experience with the staff. Twice they went out of their way to help me find the book I was looking for. I am a frequent visitor and I always find the staff very helpful.

I visited the library this morning and was absolutely blown away by the warm welcome from staff. The frontline staff on duty are a huge credit to Harrow Council. Nothing was too much trouble to help.

Very rude staff. I called to enquire about renewal process during library closure. The receptionist spoke for literally 20 secs and hung up the call without resolving my query. She began saying she had to attend to other customers as if I was calling her for a personal chit chat. Extremely unprofessional.
