Crawley Library

Very friendly and helpful staff.Large modern library over 3 Floors.Lot's of facilities and resources.Good long opening hours.Excellent Cafe on Ground Floor and even Amazonlocker on same floor.One of the best libraries I've been to in the UK.

Seems to be a trend with libraries in this county. Not as welcoming to out of county visitors as Surrey or Croydon libraries. Will even throw you out if you don't have a membership card. Disgraceful as it's meant to be a public service and that should include those who visit or work in the area from out of the county. Not asking to join up, or take books home, but unreasonable to not even welcome you into the building!

Come on, it's a public library... but the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. My only carp is that all the fiction is now thrown together in a seething mass. Historical fiction should have its own section, surely? Yes, there are little stickers on historical books, but browsing means you have to peruse everything, and get a crick in the neck looking for the little stickers. Not sure if science fiction is treated as disdainfully, I'll check that on my next visit.

I went into Crawley Library this afternoon the free WiFi they have in there wouldn't work on my Lenovo tablet so l couldn't access the internet on my tablet.

I love that they host a story time and arts and crafts on a Saturday when we don't have an opportunity during the week due to work commitments.

9/10. Clean and tidy library with a variety of books that I think you can take and return later and most importantly, it has a large study space where you can take your laptop and plug it in, you do not need an appointment to go. The only thing that would change is the schedule, maybe they could open earlier or close later, the rest very well everything.

Better reading environment . Easy reach and city centred. Need more reading materials . It will benifit readers with a great archive of printed materials with knowledge and facts to open their minds for the world. Appreciate the kind and helpful staff and their services .Thank you.
