Brilliant library. We visit once a week for song time. The staff are very friendly. They have a lovely small section of books for children. If there a book or dvd you want to borrow and they don't have in stock. They happily request from other libraries, telephone when the item arrived. This library is so much better than my previous libraries in Merton council they were awful. I would Highley recommend hook library my son and I love visiting. They only thing I would say it would be nice to have a proper cafe there instead of a coffee machine you pay for. Anyway pop try the library for yourself.

For the sake of brevity I will review the building as it is now as the library seems to undergo transformations (of varying success ) on a regular basis but the centre itself offers so much more than just a library.
The building has it's own car park, the nearest spaces being dedicated blue badge bays, there is an electric charging post in one corner and the parking is pay and display at 20 pence for 20 minutes though there is lots more free parking outside the shops in the adjacent parade.
The ground floor of the building houses the library, a cafe, washroom facilities with wheelchair access, there is a help desk, provision for travel card top ups, a photo booth and wealth of community infomation in leaflets and on the notice boards advertising the libary's clubs, events and services plus some private hire rooms.
Upstairs there are rehearsal rooms and a recording studio, with a more rooms all for hire, offering a variety of activities from street dance to pilates.
The libary's the latest revamp seems to be focused on encouraging book borrowers to process their books themselves at the selfservice stations.
The library offers free P.C use to members and printing or copying services for a cost.
The air conditioning in the building is not always very effective too hot for comfort at times and the scanner has been out of order for months.
The stock seems to have been updated with lots of new stock, shelving can be a bit random but the staff are happy to help you find items.
The library offers a wide range of events and activities for both adults and children
Yes it can be a bit rowdy with the kids around school run time but overall it is a great asset to the community.

Friendly staff and comfortable facilities for travelers in need for a place to get some work done. There's bathroom and a coffee shop (that doesn't take cards); in the morning is quite.

Always very helpful, and good with kids - I've been encouraging my 6 year old to ask people if she has a question, and they have plenty of time for everyone.

Much easier to get in this time. Wearing mask which is good. Found some good books to bring home.
