Staff are nice and helpful, there's places where you can use a PC and have a cupper tea/coffee or a light snack.
There are toilets too just in case.
Overall, very good.
One time there was a couple having a conservation.
Another time there was an interview which seemed like a social worker interview going on in the middle of the library.
The issue is there is not a separate space for quiet independent work or study, which they have in the Canary Wharf library.
For example on Saturday 19 of November 2022 will hot a Free Art fashion workshop where clothes will be decorate and create on dressmakers manniquin using unique combination of materials.
A stylish fun activities to participate with refreshment offered and it is all for free.......Hurry up do not miss this opportunity 😁
It's not very quiet, but is a central community point in Canning Town where you can find the local newspaper.
Full of avid readers and students.
There are a lot of plugs ideal for studying and working, maybe they can have more books.
Usually the bathroom is clean.
Not very quiet people used to speak here with is a bit disappointing.
Never tried the wi-fi, maybe I will

They forget that it’s a library
This is ridiculous and unacceptable.
They fail to realise that a Library is a place of quiet How do they want to correct people when they talk on the top of their voices. It would good if leadership can pay an unexpected visit on a Saturday. They’ve all been chatting loudly over 2 hours now.
Unacceptable!!!!!’😡😡😡😡😡
