I would describe this library as "atypical".

There's absolutely no respect for the principle of a quiet place to study from many of its visitors. It seems to have become somewhat of an IT Helpdesk as visitors can't get on to the Wi-Fi network.

Last week, I witnessed one of the staff painfully attempting to help a local do some shopping on amazon. As I write this, some sort of assistance is being given in an apparent social services issue.

There's a distinct community centre theme here which might not appeal to everyone. I think they're selling off the dvd's to keep the place open.

The site offers fantastic classes for kids, and when it's open, its ideal to come and do some work for half a day.

The better library is the East Greenwich location but obvious underfunding set aside, Greenwich wouldn't be the same without this library.

I've been here several times for Cinnamon Press (and affiliated Cinnamon London) readings and book events, hosted and organised by
Irena Hill's In-words limited. It is an excellent venue, particularly notable for its spaciousness, dedicated staff and domed atrium. It has a fantastic collection of books and is well located.

Excellent Library with beautiful domed interior ceiling. Good range of books, DVDs and other resources. The computer access and printing services are great and easy to access. Best place in Greenwich to get laser printing done. One issue I noticed, which was disappointing, was the recent re-organisation of the Foreign language section. Where it before included books in Polish and other Eastern European languages, we now only have German and French; this seems unnecessary and questionable.

Greenwich Library. A lovely library, good variety of books etc. Very helpful friendly staff. Sometimes groups of parents and toddlers. Adds to the fun. Always a quiet corner you can hide away in if you want to.

Very small but cosy. They always have the newest books and great, friendly staff. I also love the foreign language fiction section, just wish it would be more popular so it can be renewed more often.

Being small is both good and bad in the case of this library. Cosy, not too crowded usually, but sometimes even a little noise is too much to concentrate. Collection is very up to date and the registration process is done in a jiffy.

A place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of Greenwich City centre to read a book and if it takes your fancy to take that book home with you on a borrowed basis provided you live in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. There are also some social services here too and general information on the locale.

This little library is a hidden gem In Greenwich and actually feels like a library should feel..... Quiet and tranquil. Although I normally borrow my books from Deptford lounge, alas, it hasn't been open throughout the majority of Lockdown and when they finally did, it was only the Click & Collect that was available However, Greenwich library was open for business and I could happily restock my reading selection. The staff are extremely helpful as well. Well worth a visit. I just think that with the amount of libraries that are being shut down, it's important to make as much use of the very few in the area that are still there! Some people may argue that most people use Google. The only issue with that is that not everything that you read on Google is actually true! Keep up the good work guys!
