Stroud Library

An excellent library with pleasant, helpful & knowledgeable staff, always a pleasure to visit.

Nice family library, not great for working or revision, WiFi is decent but only 4 desks with a power socket within reach. Opening hours can be a bit short also if intending to work a lot. Staff all very cheerful and helpful, however.

Haven’t visited the library in a while but used to visit a lot to use the computers for work and social media (years ago before I had my own)

Lovely and quiet place to visit, always warm and was nice to just look around and browse the variety of books.

Only downside would be the time restriction on the PCs only being about an hour (if my memory serves me right) however this may have changed since my last visit

Very noisy and distracting to study

Visited Ollie Moss at The Lab for a tutorial on Fusion 360 3D CAD program. Great facility for our library!

Found the staff to be great very helpful, just gave 2 stars because there a part of the library where the computers are with a guy on his laptop chatting away fully loud with no consideration for people sound like his running his business from here . I found this to be very irritating because I come to the library to be in quite because my own house is noisey, it's very important to get peace when studying for my university degree . The library has an array of great books .

Walk In. "Will". Excellent. Easy to understand. Diplomatic patient. Persevered with Barclays explained to me when necessary 10/10
