Werrington Library

Our village library definitely has been worth all the effort that went into saving when threatened with closure in the recent past. It’s clean with personable and friendly staff that love to help you when stuck. It has computer and printer access ( printing has a small charge per page) as well as a photocopier ( again available for a small surcharge per sheet).

This library is the heart of the community helping to bring people together through its various weekly events. So be it a coffee morning through to baby & toddler classes there is something for everyone.

Any book that isn’t stocked at the library can be ordered for you from another local library so really you’ve got access to most of what you would find at the big city library. I can only think of back copies of local newspaper The Sentinel as a service you would need to access from the city library.

This is definitely highly recommended by someone who lives in Werrington village so knows the library well. Why not give them a go and help to keep this fantastic little library from threat of future closure.

A wonderful friendly place, not just a book haven.

Good selection of children's books, primary reason for our visit, and currently running a scheme for kids reading challenges for the impending summer holidays.

Very community friendly and cozy environment! Lovely place , very well kept
