Gainsborough community library offers so much for families to do, relax and enjoy. It has dedicated volunteers and staff that will go out of there way to support your visit and make you feel welcomed. Sometimes they have issues with youngsters which have put people off in the past but in my opinion they deal with these situations as best they can and look out for and reward families and children that do make use of library sensibly. Get over to library or check out their page to find out what's going on, normally activities for all throughout everyday. looking for somewhere to volunteer, chat to different people and be part of the community then support this local library.

Such a fantastic community library with friendly staff, lovely cafe and modern facilities. Their activity days are very well planned and suited for all kid ages. Real community spirit. Lots to offer. A real gem of a local library. X

Took my children today after school to pick a couple of books each we will not return. A group of very lively kids, swearing and at one point nearly pushed a book shelf over also not listening to staff, my children wanted to leave as felt scared we will find another branch.....not what you would expect in a library🤔

Really good little library, good selection of books, but community is really at the heart of this building. Many different groups and activities for all ages, children, adults, older adults. Usually one interactive book event a month, other special events throughout the year and a cafe on site. Staff are friendly and always willing to help.

Used to computers and do some photocopying for work and that's the only place I could think where to go. It's a nice atmosphere. It's clean. Tidy stuff for lovely. Great place to hire out books
