Sutton-in-Ashfield Library

My mum used to work here!!
Back in the 80s n throughout the 90s n left in the early 2000's

But I remember it as a proper library! With real books! Yes! Real books! 😆N I remember the newspaper room upstairs where you can look over the bus station....but since modern world tookover ....it's never been the same. 😐

But it is still a cosy place to do internet research etc and get information on things....n also a nice coffee ☕ from the machine. 😊

Always enjoy Sutton library, brilliant selection of books 📚 staff always helpful and friendly. Couldn't do any better as regards to cleaning and sanitising due to covid, well done Sutton library.

An excellent local studies area. Very impressive collection of parish registers on fiche. There is also some interesting books well worth a visit.

Friendly and helpful staff, great range of books. The my son particularly enjoys children's section and gets story books and mine craft guides out all the time.

Great selection of books for my daughter and she just enjoys being there and seeing everyone. The classes that they have are great and the staff are wonderful and so helpful.

I can't believe how rude the lady was at the reception by referring my book to luggage after a customer left my book to be signed with a attitude . Shocking attitude.
