Kettering Library

I'm a freelance writer and PR consultant and I often work in public libaries, and this is one of the best I've come across.

Best thing about it is the stunning building it's located within -- ivy on the front and a superb wooden floor throughout.

I was staying near Northampton and came to Kettering because I'd heard it was a dump and often when I hear that the truth is quite different.

Not only is this building really nice, and the staff young and friendly, but the whole centre of town looks great.

I think we should all do what we can to support these local services.

Lovely staff members, always happy to help, great with my son. The toddler groups are free and open to all, always something to do. Cant fault the staff, my son enjoys their company and feels safe around them.

Friendly & very helpful staff. The outside of the building looks awesome with nice greenery and inside gives u look like historical place. Overall good one.

Love this place, great memories here. Most recent visit was quite sad as a lot of it is closed off. If you need to go either look on the website before or ring ahead, that would be helpful.

When I walked in, I was transported to
the early years of childhood,
Polished flóors old and stuffy atmosphere, Cobwebs on the librarians. Before the refurbishment
could have sourced a lighting designer
No natural light, JUST DULL.

Having work done so not up to capacity. Staff are helpful. Quite a good range of books.

The staff were very polite and helpful, I went in with a query and it was resolved straight away

I love their comics 🙂 big range of books. Lovely n friendly staffs always helpful ☺️☺️ my nephews love this place 😍😍😍 I used to enjoy myself when I was in college. Renting dvds n CDs 😜 lots of sweets memories. Beautiful building too n look more beautiful in summer- with lots of flowers n now there r more benches too 😄😄😄
