Recently attended a computer course, one afternoon a week for 4 weeks. It was held in the upstairs meeting room, which was chilly every time we attended. On the last session my grandson and I arrived 15 minutes before the course began and had to ask to get into the room and found that no heating had been switched on in preparation for our class. We spoke to the staff to gain access and got the heater going but had to ask for a free standing electric fire to try and get the place bearable.
The staff are pleasant and helpful, however I would have expected them to refer to their diary and prepare the room for our session. Some of us had paid to attend and felt keeping warm was the least we could expect.

They lose a star because when I went to use the printer, I had to ask multiple times for help (the library was really quiet and the staff were just chatting). They would give me partial instructions, which I'd follow but then would need to ask what to do next when they could have either given me all the information or have come over and actually helped

I have grown up using this library and have always loved it, as do my Children. They usually have what you need, if not they can order it in. The staff are always available to help and are lovely too.
