the worst experience ever, the owner super rude, product prices are different every time you ask, way more expensive than any other off-licence shop in the area. Ice cream 3 times more expensive. Went to collect DPD parcel - almost mission impossible. Rude and unhelpful staff.

Why would someone call from the shops number and claim to work for car phone warehouse? Could it be for fraudulent purposes. I'm sure they are very respected pillars of the community.

I just tried to return a UPS parcel. I walked in with a parcel. The male worker asked for my number and said it was incorrect after repeating it 3 times he shouted you can’t return UPS here why didn’t you tell me it was a return. Why would I walk into a shop with a parcel and say I want to return this ups package? He refused to give me back my parcel and told me to go back in the morning. He wouldn’t give me a receipt of accepting it and said it would go onto my phone. I said how if the phone No is incorrect according to you? I had to threaten him with the police to get mg parcel back. I was shouted at in front of a shop full of men. I will be speaking to the owner again who is lovely about training his staff this was the second and last time this will happen. This shop is on my doorstep and has lost my custom.

Great customer service until I politely asked for my parcel and then they started behaving suspicious. I gave them my I.d. and address and she told me it didn't match the parcel. I had verification code for parcel on my phone which matched the label on parcel box. They refused to look and told me they needed printed version of evidence as my address has drop off point address and no name........ and also to come back later when the manager is present and shop is less busy 3 hours later with printed evidence of purchase. I'm shocked at the level of poor customer service as they prioritised paying customers over somebody who could have easily have picked up their parcel straight away. I managed to get my parcel in the end but had to refuse to leave shop to get it.

Entire store and every product in it stinks, and keeps stinking even long after bringing home. The lady working there stared down at me with suspicious facial expression when I was buying alcohol because she didnt believe I was old enough and while looking at my ID she was asking questions while stating "I make rules here", normal?
