I visited this store recently with my daughter who wanted a birthday present for a friend. They were really helpful and she was on a budget, but they still managed to recommend a great bottle.

Great selection of Whisky brands - very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

In answer to some reviews that say they are more expensive than some other stores. It's their knowledge and passion you are paying for and I think it’s worth it.

An exceptional whisky shop with impeccable service. Thank you Joao Xavier for all your help and professionalism. You went above and beyond in helping me secure the best, most important bottle of whisky I have ever treated myself to!
5 STARS without hesitation.

Visiting this shop was a joy. I enjoyed speaking with Vynie, he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I appreciated hearing the backstory of some products. I left feeling like I’d been in one of London’s hidden gems.

Served by Vynie and Joao - and what a retail experience! Highly recommend a stop here (and purchase) for two very knowledgable and passionate whisky aficionados. Certainly came away learning a lot. Will absolutely stop by again and make future purchases here.

The Absolute worst shop assistant I have encountered in my life!!! Total racxxt. If I could give 0 star I would.
I went into the shop today looking for a Japanese whiskey I bought here before. The assistant, Mr Mike Knight, was standing at the other end of the shop. I saw two bottles of Japanese whiskeys on the top shelves. They are placed quite tall so I asked him: I bought two whiskeys from here before one is about 60 pounds and one is about 100 pounds. We prefer the 60 pounds one. I don't know which one of these is the one I bought. "I don't know." That's all he said. And he didn't even move from his place. I then looked around and actually found the one I bought in the lower shelf. I said oh this is the one. Can I have one. Then he came over and took a box to the counter. I followed him to the counter and asked him about another whiskey from fife arms I had heard before and if they had anything. He just said "I dont know". The whole time he was being very dismissive and didn't want to serve me at all. Then I asked him. Do you have any idea what I was talking about. "Not really" he was still rude and dismissive. Then I calmly said clearly you don't want to sell me anything. Forget it. Then he just started shouting and accused me of coming to his shop with an "attitude".??! I was so shocked.... The whole time my voice was very clam and in fact I was wearing a mask, and he couldn't even see my face but he found I had an attitude? Then he ask me literally to GET OUT HIS SHOP. He was actually AGGRESSIVE at that point......I have no idea where my supposed attitude is apart from that I am Asian and that's the reason for his total rudeness for no reason ?
I used to go to this shop for whiskey often as it is close to my work place and all the assistants I had encountered previously were all good. I cannot believe the shop replaced them with a rude racist who is clearly not fit for the job. Considering st Paul's is a tourist place, they really did a terrible job finding this racxxt assistant.
I have called the company trying to raise a complaint don't know if they will come back to me. There are cameras in the shop I am sure they will find out what happened if they care.
DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP unless you want to experience absolutely disgraceful service.
