Willow Court Wines

An excellent choice of wine from decent plonk (usually on sale) to fine wines. There is a fantastic selection of spirits including many unusual brands and I for one am enjoying (slowly) making my way through the twenty plus top quality Gins, and the twenty seven delicious Bourbons. There is always an offer on real ale, with lots of choice, and there are many strong European beers. I can confirm that Willow Court Wines has the coldest fridges in Lichfield for when a large glass of truly chilled white wine or Cider is all that will do.
The owner is helpful and friendly and will offer advice when asked, usually passing on other customer's opinions so feedback is always welcomed.

Gurg/Jag is trying to run a real different sort of an off license - one that really does offer something different.

He has the most amazing selections of Rum/Whiskey/Vodka oh yes and beers, sorry I forgot the wine too:) Actually I forgot to mention the Bourbon... not many places can offer anything like the selection and price range that he does.

Eagle Rare is the most fabulous bourbon ever, actually it might not be, it might be the W.L. Weller... but hey when could you find anyone that stocked either not both... here you will.

Jag certainly knows his spirits and offers very positive guidance when looking for something zingy to go with my mexican dish. The oaky aroma on entering the establishment reminds me of a true vintage cellar. An excellent variety of gin, minatures and whisky's. I highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic selection of whiskys for such a small off-licence. Warm and friendly service from Jag - the proprietor. Very good value offers on wines and beers. Non chain local business therefore advice is aimed at the best quality and not just on trying to sell you the most expensive goods. Lottery also available. New chip shop opened nextdoors!

This wine shop has it all, good wines, good prices and good service. The owner is personable and has a vast range of gins and whiskeys. Definitely with a visit, he is expecting a visit, so go and you will always go back.

Got me specially within a couple of days a case of 24 of Schweppe Tomato Juices in 200 ml glass bottles. Happy to split a case but I wanted the lot! Best selection of minatures I have ever seen, so chance to try something different and see if you like it or not before buying a 70 ML bottle. Jag very helpful chap and always has a smile on his face. Easy to park and load up right outside the shop entrance. Nice to see a local business, non chain, doing well. DEREK JONES
