We loved this place. Very friendly with a great selection of Welsh beers, rums, and gins. Nice seating areas. We found a fab Welsh rum to take home with us, Barti Spice, delicious!

Lovely place with a huge selection of beers and ciders from all over the country. Very friendly staff who are happy to recommend beers if you're not sure what to try. They also distill their own gin, although I didn't try it. Highly recommended.

What a gem! Amazing selection to buy and take home but also a very lovely and friendly place to have a couple of drinks. Try the Blue Slate gin, it’s made on the premises by the owner and it’s pretty special. Will be taking some home as a souvenir of Bala!

Hidden craft beer Gem of Balla. Really good selection of beer on tap. Lots of other quality products like gin and coffee. Made to feel as welcome as a fart in a space suit. Staff could be welcoming and keen to answer questions / showcase their products. Instead I'm made to feel bad for asking questions. I would have stayed longer and spent more money if we'd had a more welcoming experience. I'd still stop here and enjoy some very good Welsh craft beer.

Found this place whilst in Bala. Brilliant distillery, shop and bar. Staff where lovely and friendly and a real chilled vibe about the place. So much choice not just in terms of the shop and an absolute plethora of wines beers and spirits. Plenty of beers to choose from from the bar. Will definitely return.

What a find! 10 (I think) beers on draft, Growlers if you want take out, then an incredible selection of bottle beer & cider with a big bias on Welsh producers. The staff were great & very knowledgeable.

I enjoy the wine from here hence more than one star, but I recently bought beef jerky from there which I later discovered was out of date, when I tried to return it they told me it was the best before date and it had been reduced for quick sale. There were no signs saying it was out of date and reduced and had I known I wouldn’t have paid £4 for out of date jerky so I felt a bit ripped off. Definitely put me off buying from there in future.
