Leas Bandstand

A historic landmark, dating back to the late 19th Century when Folkestone was at its super-chic height.
After falling into ruin and nearly being pulled down some years ago by an inept council, this landmark has since been restored. Once again you can hear the summer weekend brass bands I remember as a child in the 70s. It’s also a venue for other local music, and acts as a focal point for various summer events. A true local landmark.
