I’ve been involved with Sin City in the past as a promoter for a number of independent label rock gigs and showcasing unsigned bands. Gary and his team deeply care about providing opportunities and are absolute die hard music fans. Had a great time doing ‘Rock of Ages’ there. Most recently I saw Lower Than Atlantis there, it was one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. Thursdays he hosts his student club nights, always packed out.

Hate this place. Stinking, sticky, sweaty and no air. If my friends manage to drag me here, I spend most of my time in the smoking area because there’s no ventilation in the dance area. It’s gross. Came home and I had to buy new shoes because mine got absolutely wrecked from the filthy floors and people tipping drinks. And no surprise I caught a chest infection.. no wonder when the air you breathe is literally wet in there🤣

Great little venue for live music. Went to see The Faim with Redhook support, audio was clear and stage was a decent size for the crowd/venue

Saw Cancer Bats here a few weeks ago, Parking not too far away, a few flights of stairs to climb before getting to the venue room. Pretty typical intimate metal gig.

the most violent & aggressive bouncers i’ve ever come across. I felt extremely disrespected and I don’t normally get upset about these things but the way I was treated almost made me cry. It’s not even that good in there - go fiction where the bouncers add to a happy experience

A good place to see gigs and it's right in the city centre, which is handy. The bar prices are reasonable, considering it's a music venue. Good atmosphere with friendly music fans. If you're into live rock and/or roll, this is a fine place to check out.

Good venue but please clean your toilets once in a while, clear evidence of weeks if not months of dirt and grime.
