Buckinghamshire Council

Useless and rude people work there. Send a letter claiming they sent the previous two. When I call them and say that I have not received the two previous ones they say to me in a rude tone "it's not our problem contact with Royal Mail"!!!!! and Royal Mail claims that they did not have any letters to me from them!!! They are owed me money because I overpaid and they tell me that they do not return any money! But for 0.14 pence they send threats to refer the case to court. I feel sorry for everyone who needs to contact them. I advise you to avoid this place as far as you can!!!!!

Utterly useless. Contacted AVDC two weeks ago to request a copy of council tax bill as I required it for a job interview. Explained this too the person I spoke too and that I needed it by 15th of May and was assured it wouldn't be a problem. Letter has still not arrived and now have to cancel interview as company can't reschedule. Have tried three times to contact AVDC since about this, cannot get hold of anybody. Thanks for nothing.

Dreadful service. Tried to get assisted bin collection as I am on a walker. 8 months later and they still are not doing it! Absolute rubbish service, and my tax is paid each month on time! Disgrace

I gave 4 of 5 stars only because... I had an amazing experience attending my British Citizenship Ceremony. It was prepared with attention to detail and lovely speeches. I must however point out that this event should require attendance in formal attire... Quite disappointing that no one decided to make it clear to the participants and hard to believe that checking the ID and the invitation letter is everything that is required at the entrance... I hope my opinion on this matter will be heard and formal attire will become compulsory for those attending such an important ceremony.

Worst Council I have ever come across.
Seems like no one works there, everytime you call, you have to wait as there are about 22 people in the queue by the time it gets to your turn if you are lucky you speak to someone who takes your details and advise they will get back to you. Your request for a manager call back is ignored, sometime the call magically ends. absolutely ridiculous service, and not a care given from these people.

Our waste collection team boys on prebendal farm(fowler road}) are the best bins always taken and put back in an orderly fashion despite having to negotiate the residents parked cars.
