The worst council.. they just quickly try and sort something out , get you out the way and then ignore you

I’d like our “temporary accommodation” case to be reviewed because multiple times you have failed to do so.

My request is simple…

Me and my partner are receiving £460 per month income from universal credit.

We have to stay alive by consuming food like every other human being. Forget about the rest of our expenses. Let’s just say we spend £100 a month for food (which is untrue and it costs way more) let’s just pretend… so now we are left with £360. Now like I’ve mentioned previously it is costing us £10 a day/ £300 a month for electricity that we don’t full use! There’s a fault with the meter (not our responsibility, council must ensure the property is fully protected and working before housing us!) So you haven’t took that into account clearly. And now we are spending 65% of our only income on bills that are not providing the service intended for.

Neglected by the council
You’d think the council takes your priority seriously when you are a pregnant mother but NOOOOOO ho ho ho 🌚🌚 major system failure. The council is on the verge of collapse.

We have no proper housing/ welfare in this country. This is a serious matter.

Racist rude staff. They don’t treat you like a human being. Me and my partner approached this council after many years of dependency and not having to rely on any government institution we had no choice but to go in and tell them we are homeless and need their help! Bear in mind my wife is 25 years old and she’s pregnant. So we must be prioritised to a suitable accommodation atleast. But we have been neglected every time since we first went to the council to declare we are homeless. The lady at the reception looked at us and said “you don’t look homeless” WOWWWW really? Is this how you treat the people who for help? After all the taxes we pay… where’s the money going? Clearly not for housing!! I’m filling more complaints and keeping in touch with the MP. Government has done no good for its British citizens. This is disgraceful and ungodly.

The parking agents are so bored that they just give away notices to make money to the council.
