Fabulous.....I loved it. Good insight into dreadful living conditions and general squalor of the late 1800's London in the East End....and no doubt elsewhere throughout London.
Pat who was on the desk was very pleasant and welcomed her visitors to the museum enthusiastically. I heard other visitors thank her for telephone directions etc.
Thank you Pat. I'll be back next year for another visit. I recommend a visit to the Museum.

The only place in London dedicated to Jack the ripper and his poor victims .spaced out over several floors.with recreated scenes of the period .including a scene of the crime.police Station. Bedroom and mortuary. Very well put together. Complete with a little shop to.and the lady who served me today was lovely.very friendly.welcoming and had a great knowledge of the JR story. So a big thank you to her.please go along and support this. History is sometimes not nice.but places like this are vital. So we can get a first hand view of our past. And if you think you know what suffering is. Then just go along and see how these poor people used to live. Thats suffering. Please support. Thank you.

Good points: The staff member was very friendly and informative.

There are toilets on site.

Bad points: The price differed from the website (£12 when listed as £10 online). Maybe this is by design to encourage booking online, but I can't see anywhere where it states that.

The museum is pretty small. It's effectively 5 small rooms. You could whizz round it in 10 minutes easily. In no way does it represent good value for money. One of the rooms was pure conjecture too (What Jack the Ripper's living room might have looked like...!?).

It's rather light on any kind of detail. For people with anything more than a superficial interest in the history etc, this is a waste of your time and money.

Really enjoyed our visit. The museum is set in a narrow Victorian terraced house which is set out over 5 floors, this gives a real feel to how people may have lived at the time. The exhibits are very interesting to look at and I like the effect of the darkened rooms with the flickering lights, which would have been similar to the gas lighting that was used at the time. The little shop had a good selection of souvenirs to buy and the lady that was working in the museum was very warm and welcoming.

The museum is definitely off the normal touristy path during a Holiday weekend. I really enjoyed the history and uniqueness of the museum. There are audio, visual and written exhibits on each floor that add to the rich history of the mystery of who was Jack the Ripper. Definitely worth your time to stop in a chat and take a tour.

Great place! Easy to find. Come early to avoid rush of people. Then you can take your time to read and explore. I found the experience really good. Spending a good hour alone and exploring. A lot of information and well worth the time if you are visiting the Tower area.

Took my daughter as she will be learning about Jack the Ripper in her history class.

The museum was very informative, with lots of information to read. There was some real artifacts to look at and each floor had a different scene setup to give you a feel for the era.

The front of house staff was lovely and very helpful.

Looking forward tondoing the walking tour later on in the day.
