Very interesting museum, much better than I expected, from prehistoric facts to the present, taking in all aspects of life, and the gardens in the back, are an oasis of calm, so unexpected, I can highly recommend this place if you want to spend a relaxing couple of hours away from the world. Free entry and parking, just give a donation.

Excellent & amazing museum with something to interest everyone here. The museum has free entry and is highly recommended, with numerous quality displays celebrating British life over the centuries covering artifacts, transport, agriculture, industry, fossils, schools, fashion, household life and much more, plus children's interactive play areas. Brilliant place to visit!

Despite visiting Stratford Park regularly, we had never visited the Museum before yesterday. We had been missing out for sure!

We were amazed that it was a) free (donations more than welcome), and b) had so many activities for the kids specifically to do. I.e. various trails around the park and the museum itself.

Our personal favourite part was the walled garden. There was also an insect exhibition on when we visited.

Lovely museum tucked away in Stratford Park. Accessible parking available through the back of the SGS college car park (red bollard). Wheelchair access in the Museum & garden access. Very kind and understanding staff.

This is an extremely interesting free, local museum, very well laid out with loads to see. Make sure you visit the lovely walled garden and have a walk in the park. Parking is free in the leisure centre car park.

We loved this museum as it brought us back to our childhood, it had interactive toys for children to teach them the working of the displays . The garden was beautiful but lots off the plants had suffered from the bad weather, we put some seeds for our garden .we would recommend a visit as it's free entry and a lovely cafe too .also free parking.
