West Acre Lodge

I had my 60th birthday parties at West Lodge (yes! 2 parties). The first was friends and family for an overnight stay with dinner b + b'fast and for all 18 of us it was absolutely the best ever time. The weather was perfect (warm sunny) so we were able to take advantage of the outside terrace and the spectacular views as well as the amazingly fantastic service from Alex. She was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and she managed all of us almost single handed until the evening when we had gorgeous food, cooked by our own chef. The breakfast was also fabulous and much welcomed by those guests who had perhaps drunk rather a lot (via the honesty bar which is another great idea)! Everyone, without exception, said they would definitely like to return for another fabulous West Acre w/end ...... some did (read on!). It made my 60th more special than I could ever have hoped.
The 2nd "do" was afternoon tea which was stupendously brilliant! Again we had the lovely Alex to look after us. The weather was sunny (if not as good as our first do) and some of us braved the wind to be outside. The tea itself was amazing - I've been to many places for afternoon tea (including a few in London) and you can keep all of those, give me a West Acre welcome and afternoon tea any day! SO THANK YOU TO ALL THE TEAM WHO HAVE MADE MY 60th birthday so special (and long!). If i could have given more stars, I would have!!
Oh and if anyone likes this - also do try the other Provenance pubs which are all fab!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious, quiet and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
