Had my first shooting lesson today, it couldn't have been better. Extremely friendly and relaxed atmosphere, lovely people, a great experience. If you're considering booking, do it!

Good cafe serving delicious food, with friendly staff.
Small gun shop that is well stocked and supplies a varied selection of cartridges and helpful staff member.
Shooting Range is very compact and suffers from clay cross-over on some adjacent stands, so be aware!
Worth a visit, just for the experience.

First time at Kellbrook this weekend gone.

Staff in the cafe were lovely and the food was fantastic.

The service from the shop was spot on with a lovely friendly lady.

The entire day was fun and id definitely come again and recommend friends and family to give it a try.

If you want to improve your standard of shotgun marksmanship, Kelbrook is the place to come. Excellent facilities with a modern clubhouse and new loos as well as a massive range of clay traps, to simulate every sort of game bird flight.
Working with Mike Meggison is both a genuine pleasure and fun, with a lot of humour thrown in. He explains things in a way my simple brain can understand and my shooting has been greatly improved by his excellent coaching. I've been coming here for many years now, and Mike has helped extend my shooting life (76 next birthday) as well as finding me a perfect Holland Royal some 10 years ago, a lovely old long barrelled English game gun that is a pleasure to use.
So highly recommended.

This is a really nice place to shoot, you have your choice of stands and are free to roam around. The stands are varied and offer some challenging shots. There's a competition area overlooking the lake too.
The grounds are well maintained and that makes it an enjoyable environment to shoot in.
There's a cafe on site thats open on the weekends, there's vending machines during the week.
The on site shop although small has everything you need, whether its a new gun, ear defenders, shot or advice.

A very friendly and scenic shooting ground, with quite a lot of stands to shoot from, all with solo delay for when you are practicing on your own. My only criticism is the lack of 'open space' as it does feel a little cramped . That said, it is a lovely place to shoot. And if you shoot over the lake , then you can disregard my small criticism, and enjoy the open space , the view, and the shooting.
