New owners opened on Friday. Went Friday night for food and again today for Sunday lunch. Lovely friendly staff and very tasty food. Sunday lunch - choice of 3 meat and 6 veg .... very tasty. Hot & fresh. Certainly recommended and will be back there soon. Thanks Chris & the team.

Room very small - no space to walk or open door to bathroom .Bathroom as well very limited space ,shower pressures very low .Rooms very hot ...Positive : great location. Nearby restaurants pubs , views beautiful , comfortable bed .

Nice cheap hotel with good clean comfy rooms and friendly staff. Shower was hot but absolutely terrible pressure. The owner did tell me about it. Lovely quiet location.

No food served, no bar service, no hot running water, apart from that, nice room nice view.

Went for a family members birthday, staff were really friendly and the food was lovely and hot, tasty too, I don't think any of us could clear our plates. Will definitely go again. Was reasonably priced too.

The room was cold, as the window was unable to close properly due to a broken latch. There was no heating or hot water. Upon arrival, there was nobody present to greet us, until we knocked for 15 minutes. The room was damp and dusty, but the en-suite was satisfactory. The restaurant food was very nice, but they attempted to swindle us out of an extra £25 for drinks we didn't order. Would not stay again, but would recommend the restaurant - just watch your bill!
