It's a great place to work, and everyone their cares about one another. Couldn't recommend higher.

I was very saddened by the care received here to the point where you would call it neglect. My Grandad was very poorly treated and received inadequate care in every respect during his stay here. For somewhere offering palliative care this is not the place to go. He was not give prescribed medication or his usual pain relief. Food was not offered to him properly or he wasn't supported by staff with eating. Medical advice was not sought out when it was needed. His catheter wasn't emptied when it needed to be which caused more medical issues.
Don't be deceived by appearances and the wonderful display of facilities - care is what people need and that is not offered here.

I would not recommend this care home at all, as a family we have regretted choosing this for my late father in law. Please do not be fooled by the fancy decor, the drinks you are offered when initially choosing a home. It is a sales pitch. Look for a alternative care home that will look after your loved one.
They did not meet even basic care needs, bell not at his side, catheter care not existent, did not seek medical advice , showed no respect to residents, staff complained when the bell was pressed, even called residents “attention seeking” when they rang their bells. Staff did not support meal times, and gave him food he disliked when they were told he would not eat such as pasta, served 3 times during his final week of life. Food was cheap, made to look fancy, fruit whips served at every meal. I can not express how poor the care was, since we have complained, the response the family has had has been lies but now we have care home notes we can prove how poor the care was. Please do not choose this care home, you will regret it as we have done, your loved ones deserve more!

Level of care is very poor and extremely disappointed with how my relative was treated. Would NOT recommend this care home for palliative care. Staff and managers did not listen to family members concerns about the poor level of care given.

Do not be fooled by its nice appearance. The care and respect for residence is what matters and that is not given here.

What an amazing care home. Staff are friendly, the home has its own cinema with popcorn making machine. The rooms are tastefully furnished and ensuite. Looks like a great place to work.

Shame that there isn’t the option for no stars. Stunning care home facilities but the management is appalling and they did not provide suitable palliative care for my father. I would not recommend this home under any circumstances!!!! So many mistakes, I have complaint ongoing from June 2021 and they do not respond, no respect for the deceased family nor my father when he was there. One member of staff moaned about other staff calling them lazy and complained about the residents. There was poor communication within the home and my fathers oromorph was left at the chemist for 7 days after they was told to administrate it,(I have district nurses notes now to prove they knew about it however they lied and said they didn’t know) leaving him with just paracetamol. Night catheter bag notes show it was only used 3 times out of 27 days. He did not even have his bell at end of life and when I did try and use it, didn’t work in a brand new are home.
