Otters Den

We had a lovely Easter break at Otter's Den 1 - very quiet and relaxing. The accommodation was very clean and the owners sent helpful videos in advance of our arrival with information about the property. We had lovely weather and so enjoyed the patio, views and hot tub! The coffee maker and coffee capsules were a nice and welcoming touch. We would book again and would recommend to others. The owners are very helpful when contacted.

An amazing place to stay! Lovely and clean, beautiful views, amazing facilities. Very secure with little kids/ dogs. Handbook tells you everything you need to know. Brilliant night's sleep! The Slater family were super helpful and there at a hand if anything was required. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to all!! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We have just stayed at Otters Den for the second time, we love it here, the lodges are beautiful with fantastic views over the lake, there is a hot tub to relax in. Fabulous walks on the doorstep, which the doggies loved, especially a Brock Bottom. My sister and family also stayed with us and the children had a ball! It was great to be able to organise a shopping delivery also, the first time we stayed we couldn’t do this, so this was a bonus 😀 Well done to the Slater family for running and maintaining these lodges to such a brilliant standard. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic lodge. Really clean and modern. Loads of lovely little touches ie. Robes & flip flops for the hot tub, dog treats and coffee machine! Stunning location with lots to do in the area. Would highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing place, view over lake was beautiful and lively to watch the sunsets. Warm comfortable house and hot tub was amazing to get into after a long days walk. Hot showers and comfy beds. Definitely go again.

Absolutely amazing place, not only is Otters Den in a stunning location, the cabins are finished to a high standard, they are clean, exceptionally tidy and are equipped with everything you would need for a staycay!

From the moment we booked the owners were on hand to answer any questions, sent over check in videos, which show you where everything is and how to use everything in the cabin and were available throughout our stay for any questions, we may of had.

We had the most fabulous stay, it felt like home and was so peaceful.

There are so many amazing, cafes and pubs locally as well as lots of walks.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough; we will be definitely returning!

My family stayed in lodge 2 from 10 - 13 December and it was perfect. We were due to come earlier in the year but had to rearrange due to the lockdown but I'm so glad we did. Everything had been considered to make our stay wonderful. The kitchen is stocked with all of the appliances and essentials you should need including a Tassimo coffee machine (with pods) which I appreciated and the log burner was very well used during our stay. It goes without saying that the location and views are stunning, we enjoyed a couple of walks in the local area and The Green Man pub was a great place to eat on the Saturday. Small touches such as the Christmas tree on the mezzanine level and the chest stocked with board games were fab. It was one of the nicest weekends we have had in a while and we would love to come back.

Lovely place but didn't make the most due to time off year.still had a brilliant time in hottub and nice walks. Lovely pub/restaurant about 15min walk away. Had everything you needed.
