Phoned Swift Ward while in reception staff that take the calls just sit there ignored me calling while I was sitting in the chair! They where on their mobile phones. Especially the girl with long dark curly hair should be sacked in my opinion. Disgrace to the n.h.s. staff on Swift Ward half don't speak English so must be fighten for people admitted I am currently ringing the ward for 19.56 minutes nobody has answered and still ringing. Can't speak to a doctor always busy. Have to get food delivered from outside. Shame I only gave one star should nil.

I have only given one star as my son has not reached the hospital until tomorrow . I called twice today first time I called the swift ward a very abrupt member of staff answered the phone shouting down the phone . I said do you have to shout as I am wanting to speak to someone about my son arriving tomorrow as he is extremely vulnerable and very weak physically due to Kneesworth in bassingbourne starving him two weeks ago and ended up in A & E Addenbrooke . It’s natural that I am extremely worried for my sons admission on swift ward I did not want my son going there , but I have been told that if I have any problems I am to contact NHS . I called back 2nd time at 21.30 pm tonight ( 30/03/2022 and was spoken to very abruptly again . I said I need some information regards to my son arriving tomorrow . Her reply yet again very abruptly we are too busy to answer questions and we don’t have your sons name on our list arriving tomorrow . I said are you sure? she replied abruptly we have a major incident on the ward atm and hung up Okay fair enough but non need to speak to callers abruptly
Omg and this is want is happening already before my son arrives tomorrow
I will not accept any rudeness from Members of staff on this swift ward or I will be raising a serious complaint I understand not all Staff are rude but this is unacceptable. Love ones are already upset seeing there family members going through trauma and having to go to acute psychiatric wards for weeks or even months
Let’s see what happens tomorrow morning when I call back and if I hear one more member of staff from Swift ward talk to me abruptly I will Not hesitate to speak to the chief executive of king fisher court hospital and I will raise a full Complaint
It’s totally unacceptable the way some of the staff speak to patients family’s and i will fight to have my son removed

This place in my opinion is the worst place on earth, some of the staff are so rude, the way they treat the patients and their family its disgusting, I honestly cant believe the reviews on her about how wonderful this place is, its worse than a prison. They dont seem to have any feelings for the patients and treat them all like naughty school kids, and if you dare say anything you get treated the same way, I dont know how they sleep at night. I just pray I never have to be put in this place, it definitely needs investigating. Its about time they had CCTV cameras in there then maybe the staff might treat the patients better - I must point out its not all the staff there are some really nice ones but think they are scared to speak out

The bank staff used beat up a transgender patient, punching all 5ft of him in the stomach screaming at him that men don't cry. They should not be using bank staff at a psych hospital...really disgusting

Very unprofessional on swift Ward. Staff left a patient waiting in reception to be admitted onto the ward after a 2 hour journey from A & E in the Midlands. She was not offered a beverage or something to eat. Disgusting care from this hospital

It's not the greatest place you have some staff that are nice and are there for the patients but as in any hospital you have the staff that are abusive not caring rude and simply there for the paycheck I would not recommend sending somebody there and if somebody is sent there through the mental health team or 136 try and get them moved to a different hospital
